Students who want to go directly to a four year college after high school need to take an SAT or ACT test.
(NOTE: Students who are going to a 2-year community college or the military do not need this test)
The SAT Test has three sections:
Critical Reading
Mathematics
Writing
Cost is $54.50
(Free/Reduced Lunch students can get a waiver from Mr. Kerwien in the Counseling Center to take it for free.)

- Students need to create a College Board account online in order to register for the test. Payment is online via credit/debit card.
- Consider taking the PSAT (Practice SAT during 10th and 11th grade), the actual SAT during your Junior Year and re-take the SAT for a better score in the fall of your Senior Year.
